Got a call from Target about my job application. Sorry, guys, but you’re too late. Already got a job because they didn’t wait a week to get back to me.

someone found a real life plot hole

Son of a bitch!

I was talking with my mom on the phone and she talked with my brother yesterday and she asked if he had been doing his fair share around the house. He said, “Oh yeah! Of course!” Then she asked, “What about the yard work?” He said he helped pull weeds. Okay, his dad pulled the weeds when he was visiting. Matt didn’t help at all. And not once has he raked the yard, swept the patio, trimmed back bushes, or watered plants. He was standing outside in the yard with me yesterday while I was cutting back plants. I had a huge pile of leaves and sticks sitting right by the garbage can and he didn’t offer to help. I didn’t get nearly as much done as I wanted to because I didn’t have any help and I was so worn out from all the work I did yesterday. I burned 1500 calories from everything I did yesterday.

I’ve also never seen him sweep or mop the floors. He’s never cleaned the stainless steel appliances. And dammit. Now I’m thinking of all the other things that need to be cleaned.

I’m so pissed off at him. First of all, he’s been lying about helping clean and keep up things. He’s lied so much that I think he actually believes that he’s done these things. Second of all, he says he isn’t a mind reader and that I have to tell him to clean something. I shouldn’t have to tell you to clean up your dirty dishes or to sweep up the crumbs you spilt all over the floor. It’s common sense. Apparently he has none of that.
